Where are you located?
We are conveniently located in downtown Honolulu at 1108 Fort Street Mall, across Hotel Street from Fisher Hawaii and kitty corner to Ross Dress For Less.  Our classroom is located on the second floor of the Pantheon Building in #2B.  Everything we have is new…from the carpet on the floor to the paint on the walls!  We provide a clean and productive learning environment.

How do I sign up for a class?
Please email info@krysketraining.com or call 808-232-3243 to sign up for a class. Payment for class needs to be received prior to the start of class.

Where can I park?
Kryske Training will validate your parking if you park in Mark's Garage on the corner of Bethel and Pauahi on the day of your training. If you will need a place to park while attending training, please let us know when you register and we will take care of it!  Please note that arrangements need to be made in advance.Unfortunately, the building in which Kryske Training is located does not provide public parking.  For your convenience, we have listed a few parking garages within walking distance of Kryske Training on the Location page.  Parking prices subject to change.  Availability is not guaranteed. We do not validate at other locations or after the fact, so please let us know when you register.

How long is each class?
Each class is one day from 8am - 4pm.

Are there class prerequisites?
Yes.  To make sure we are able to instruct a successful class, we highly recommend the following prerequisites:
Introduction Classes – To ensure a productive class for all students, it is highly recommended that all students are familiar with the keyboard, mouse, and Windows.
Intermediate Classes – To ensure a productive class for all students, it is highly recommended that all students have completed the Introductory level class or are knowledgeable with the content covered in the Introductory level class.
Advanced Classes – To ensure a productive class for all students, it is highly recommended that all students have completed the Intermediate level class or are knowledgeable with the content covered in the Intermediate level class.

Note:  If the instructor feels that a student does not have the appropriate skills to be in the class, they may be asked to sign up for the prior level before being allowed to take the class.

What if I want to learn something other than Microsoft Office 2003?
While the only version of software offered at our location is Microsoft Office 2003, we are more than happy to teach any version of Microsoft Office including 97, 2000, XP, and 2007 at your business. We have books for all versions of Office.

What happens if I sign up for a class and can’t make it?
We understand that things can pop up at the last minute.  If you sign up for a class and are unable to make it, you will have 6 months to re-register for that exact same class.  No refunds are given and this offer is good for 6 months from the date of the original class. Be sure to notify us immediately if you will not be able to make it to your scheduled class. You can email us at info@krysketraining.com

If I want to repeat a class, can I?
A lot is covered during our day-long classes and we appreciate that it can be quite overwhelming.  If you would like a “refresher” for a class you previously took, you may resit the exact same class at no charge for up to 6 months after the date of the initial class.  You will need to register prior to the class and specify that it will be a refresher.  We will confirm your first retake at the time of your re-registration.  Any subsequent refreshers within the initial 6 months will be on an available-only basis and we will confirm availability the day prior.  You will also need to bring with you the book you received at the initial class.  Parking is not validated for retakes.

What if I’m running late?
To ensure that the other students are not distracted and that class stays on track, no one will be allowed to join the class after 8:15 am.  You will be able to re-register for that same class up to 6 months from the initial class date.

Can I bring in food and drink into the classroom?
We understand that some of you need a “kick start” in the morning or a “pick me up” after lunch.  Drinks will be allowed in the classroom so long as they have lids.  Food will not be allowed in the classroom.

Do you provide custom training?
Yes!  If you would like specific training, we will work with you to develop a curriculum to fit your needs.  For example, if you would like your employees to learn specifically about the Excel Data Menu features, we can customize a class.  If you would like your employees to learn about Word styles so they can create Tables of Contents with ease, we can customize a class.  If you would like your employees to learn how to work with the features of your Access database, we can customize a class.  We can provide this training in our classroom or at your location.  Please contact us at info@krysketraining.com.

Do provide private classes?
Yes!  If you would like a private class for just your employees, we can do that!  We can provide the training in our classroom or at your location.  Please contact us at info@krysketraining.com

Do you rent your training room?
Yes!  If you have your own trainer, your own software, and your own curriculum, but you don’t have computers…we can help!  Please contact us at info@krysketraining.com.

What happens if a class is cancelled?
Who’s canceling a class?  Not us!  We don’t want you to cancel on us, so we won’t cancel on you!  Kryske Training appreciates the value of your time, and it can be quite frustrating and inconvenient to sign up for a class only to have it cancelled right before it is to take place.  Not only are you not receiving the training you would like, or need, but you now have to rearrange your schedule to attend training on another day.  Therefore, Kryske Training is focusing on NOT canceling any of its classes.  Yes, that’s right…even if there is only 1 student signed up, we will still hold class!    However, there may be instances where we may have to make the unpopular decision to cancel a class.  If this is the case, you will have the choice to receive a full refund or transfer your registration to another class.*  If you choose to transfer your registration to another class, we will thank you with a 25% discount.  (Please note, though, that our classes are timed for 8 students.  With fewer than 8 students, class length may be shorter than the allotted 7 hours.)

*This offer only applies if you have registered for the class at least one day prior to the class start date.

Why does your logo have a fish in it?
The business answer is: it's eye catching. Do what it takes to get noticed. The real reason is because as Paul was creating the business, everything was done but the logo. He did not know what to use as the logo for his company. When someone asked what he liked, he replied "I like my fish." He then proceeded to design a logo using one of his goldfish as the model.
